Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy (this "Policy") applies to all purchases made from O1D Match LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("O1DMatch," "we," "us," or "our"), through www.o1dmatch.com and its subdomains. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service. Where a specific product's terms presented to you at checkout differ from this Policy, those checkout terms control for that purchase.

2. Subscriptions and Memberships

Subscription plans renew automatically at the interval and price disclosed at checkout until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund a billing period that has already begun, and your access continues through the end of the period you have paid for. We do not provide partial-month or partial-year refunds for unused time, and we do not refund a subscription on the basis of non-use.

If you cancel and are charged again afterwards because the cancellation did not process correctly, that charge is refunded in full. If we materially reduce the features of a plan during a period you have already paid for, you may cancel and request a pro-rata refund of the unused portion of that period.

3. Consultations and Advisory Sessions

Consultation fees are earned when the scheduled session takes place. You may reschedule or cancel a consultation for a full refund, or a full credit toward a future session, by giving us at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours beforehand, and appointments you do not attend, are not refundable, because the reserved time cannot be reassigned.

If we cancel, reschedule without your agreement, or fail to appear for a scheduled consultation, you receive a full refund or a credit at your election. Where a consultation fee is expressly credited toward a later service, that credit is applied as described at the time of purchase and is not separately redeemable for cash.

4. Application Support and Document Services

Packaged application-support, document-preparation, template, and administrative-support services are professional work products. Those fees are fully earned and non-refundable once we begin work on your file — which includes opening your matter, assembling or reviewing your materials, or beginning preparation of any draft or deliverable. Before work begins, you may cancel for a full refund.

Because the fee pays for the work performed rather than for any particular result, it remains non-refundable if a petition or application is later denied, delayed, withdrawn, or abandoned; if you decide not to proceed after work has begun; or if the file cannot move forward because required information, documents, or signatures are not provided to us. This mirrors the standard in this industry: the deliverable is the prepared work, not the government's decision.

O1DMatch is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or representation. Where an independently licensed attorney or law firm is engaged in connection with your matter, that engagement is governed by a separate agreement directly between you and that attorney or firm, and any legal fees paid under it are subject to that agreement's own terms — not this Policy.

5. Digital Content, Courses and Downloads

Templates, guides, recordings, courses, and other digital materials are delivered immediately on purchase and are non-refundable once accessed or downloaded, because they cannot be returned. If a file is corrupted, incomplete, or does not match its description, contact us and we will repair it, replace it, or refund it.

6. Government and Third-Party Fees

Government filing fees, biometric fees, consular fees, translation, courier, and similar third-party costs are not O1DMatch fees. Where we have collected such an amount from you and have not yet paid it to the receiving party, it is refundable in full on request. Once it has been paid to a government agency or other third party, any refund is governed solely by that party's own rules, and we cannot refund on their behalf.

7. Duplicate, Erroneous or Unauthorized Charges

If you are charged twice for the same item, charged an incorrect amount, or charged for something you did not authorize, tell us and we will investigate promptly and refund any amount charged in error in full. You do not need to rely on this Policy's other sections for that — a billing error is corrected regardless of product type.

8. How Refunds Are Issued

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We process approved refunds within five (5) business days of approval; how quickly the credit appears on your statement afterwards is determined by your card issuer or bank and is typically an additional five to ten business days. We do not issue refunds in cash or to a different payment method.

9. How to Request a Refund or Cancel

Email info@o1dmatch.com from the address associated with your purchase, and include the name on the order, the date of the charge, the amount, and what you are asking for. We acknowledge refund and cancellation requests within two (2) business days and tell you the outcome, with reasons, in writing.

10. Before You Dispute a Charge

If something looks wrong on your statement, please contact us first at info@o1dmatch.com. Most billing questions are resolved the same week, and a direct request is faster than a card dispute. Contacting us does not limit any right you have to dispute a charge with your card issuer or bank, or any right you have under applicable consumer-protection law.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
